Construction of the Hutchinson 9/11 memorial has begun. The center footing has been poured for the placement of the beam and the two towers. Check back for new pictures of the progress!

On April 8th 2010, Brush units from Hutchinson were asked to assist a nieghboring fire district for help on a large grass fire. Among the 650 acres of CRP that got burnt, Brush 61 got a little crispy. After being stuck in the mud, the fire came closer and closer.
